Amber Red is a double-roasted black tea with sweet, full flavors. Thanks to the double-roasting, this tea has almost no astringency or dryness.

This year's harvest has the same, sweet-smooth profile for easy-drinking but with more balanced flavors. Notes of milk chocolate, molasses, and grapes, with earthy undertones of sweet potato. The aftertaste is incredibly sweet and thick for a black tea.

The leaves have a strong, lush fragrance with radish undertones that are characteristic of Nepal's high-altitude teas.

Recommended Brewing Instructions: Use 2tsp (~4g) per 8oz water.
Brew for 1-2 minutes.

- 195F for a softer, sweeter profile with caramel and sweet potato notes and dried fruit undertones.

- 205F for a full-flavored, sharper profile with molasses, malt, and sweet potato flavors with a hint of caramelized sugar and grapes.

This tea can be rebrewed up to 4 times, with hotter water and longer infusions.

Led by Purna Mukhiya, Hariyali Cooperative is an independent grower seeking to make a name for Nepal on the international tea stage. The tea plants are grown at high altitude, producing very good leaf material. Hariyali Cooperative grows with all-natural methods.

The Hariyali Cooperative is located near Mai Pokhari, a beautiful lake of great religious and natural significance.

It is part of the same growers cooperative federation as Teenjure Tea State and Pathivara Tea Estate. All of the members are working together to advance the Nepalese tea industry beyond just being a raw leaf supplier for India.
